A great place to stop for a picnic or rest. An area with many amenities. If you like the river, streams, the bush, bird life, camping and picnicking. All these can be found here including toilets. There is even shelter for your picnic if you need it.
Take your time and enjoy the bush, birds and the very short bush walk. On the bush walk (of only five or ten minutes) there is a delightful shaded stream and many specimens of trees, algae, moss and lichen plus other wildlife. Make sure you take your shoes off and get your toes wet in the stream.
The cache container is a small mint tin with camo tape with a log book and pencil. It is easy to access and no bush bashing is required. Bring your own picnic and water.
