(EN)The place of Ruše has been writing more than nine hundred years of history. The clans of Pohorje and the working Rušani wrote the beginnings of their history with hard work, especially in sawmills and small blacksmiths, whose source of energy was the waters of Pohorje streams. A very important activity was gourmanding, which was developed in Pohorje, where the resources of the raw materials were. Thus, the glass workshops of cast, blown and polished glass and their products have been preserved in museums to date. Vas Ruše developed primarily in the field of metal industry. The factories originated, and the biggest expansion was achieved after 1945. The nitrogen plant Ruše employed as half of the population as a giant and the production program brought the factory and the place of Ruše far from the globe. Unfortunately, it has happened that the economic recession has also cut into our place. Many people have lost their jobs. Today, things are completely different. I get a new place with new factories, there are more and more foreign investors investing in new jobs, Ruše has become a city, new shopping centers, sports grounds, a new sports hall, a pool complex under construction as well as a hotel and a landscaped environment of all facilities tells us that everything moves into a very nicely dressed.
In this environment we work and live fishermen, united in the Ribiška family Ruše. Our story is a little different. Historically, fishermen, like in the whole region of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, acquired their rights and duties in the Fishermen's Law of 1888, for which Professor Franke most deserves. This year is considered as the beginning of organized fisheries in Slovenia. In Styria, as early as 1910, it was the founding general assembly of the fishermen 's county association for the Štajerska region, which in 1925 was renamed the Fishermen' s Association Maribor. This group also included fishermen Ruš. In 1939, the Russian fishermen submitted to the administration of the then administration their rules, which were confirmed by them. Thus, the conditions for the formation of the first independent fishing association were given, but it operated only until the beginning of the Second World War. It is a pity that the documents of the then society were not kept. Also, there are no data on who were the then officials and how many members the Society counted. After World War II, Styrian fishermen established an association within the framework of the Fisheries Cooperative, which later.
Already in 1955, the Fishermen's Society was once again attempting to revive the Fishermen's Club in Ruše, which was successful in the autumn of 1956. The beginning was modest, as the association counted only 48 members. This number has increased rapidly over the years. The peak of the number of members was achieved by the Fishermen's Society Ruše after 1970, when it gathered more than 650 members in its aegis. This number fluctuated over the years, and in the last decade, it fell steeply downwards. Today, there are about 2 260 members of the family.
We pay a great deal of attention to the Ruše family, in addition to managing other activities. We care for young people, above all, through fishing clubs in four elementary schools. Competitive sport activity in our fishing family is very high, because quality competitors also come from several European and World competitions. We are exemplarily cooperating with other societies and organizations in the city of Ruše as well as with the municipal administration headed by the.
Ecology is in our Fishing family domain of all fishermen, since our long-standing cooperation with hunting and citizens in the life of the banks of the river Drava and streams is constant. Our greatest wish would be to preserve nature as pure as possible, watering the possibility of full fish as it used to be, so that we would not be able to indulge in indifference to water management.
