This is a quick and simple cache in a small municipal park.
The cache is located in Carlson Park. Parking is on Truman Drive or Eisenhower Drive. Several High School Students as part of their community service project just recently groomed the park. The trails have wood chips, and are lined with tree branches. Follow the trail to find the cache. No bushwhacking needed. There is a large stone bridge in the eastern section of the park. Could not find a corner stone, but it is probably from the early 1900’s. Back then the town was Camp Merritt, and was heavily involved with the movement of troops to Hoboken to be shipped over seas for WWI.
The cache is a sandwich sized Rubbermaid container. Original Trading contents are as follows.
1. Shoe insoles
2. Mini screw drivers
3. Confetti
4. Super Glue
5. Glue stick
6. Razor knife
7. Mini calculator
8. Alarm clock
9. Key chain flashlight
10. Mini Locks
11. Breath Drops
12. Fishing Bug #4
And Guarded by 5 Army Men.
NOTE:
Non Trading Items: Notebook, pencil, Elven Cache Card.
