 FR:Attention: accessible de 8h30 à 16h. Weekends et jours fériés: accès de 9h30 à 16h30. Créé en 1866 suite à l'épidémie de choléra qui sévit à Bruxelles, le terrain en pente offre une perspective sur le parc de La Sauvagère. Le cimetière sera désaffecté en 1958. La nature a repris ses droits, offrant un refuge pour insectes, oiseaux et rongeurs. Il ressort une atmosphère romantique au printemps mais aussi plus mystérieuse en automne ou en hiver quand la neige s'invite. Le patrimoine funéraire monumental des sépultures de la bourgeoisie uccloise est important. Le site abrite également un important cimetière juif ashkénaze. N'hésitez pas à déambuler dans ce lieu magique et parfois méconnu même des habitants voisins. Vous pourrez aussi trouver la tombe de Georges Remi mieux connu sous le nom de Hergé. Le cimetière est classé depuis 1997. Ce lieu est un lieu de recueillement, respectez son calme. The cemetery will be decommissioned in 1958. Nature has regained its rights as a refuge for insects, birds and rodents. There is a romantic atmosphere in spring but also more mysterious in autumn or winter when the snow comes. The monumental funerary heritage of the burials of the bourgeoisie of Ucclesia is important. The site also houses an important Ashkenazi Jewish cemetery. Feel free to stroll around this magical and sometimes unknown place even of the neighboring inhabitants. You can also find the tomb of Georges Remi better known as Hergé. The cemetery has been classified since 1997. This place is a place of contemplation, respect its calm. Het hellend terrein, dat in 1866 werd gecreëerd naar aanleiding van de cholera-epidemie in Brussel, biedt uitzicht op het park van La Sauvagere. De begraafplaats wordt in 1958 buiten gebruik gesteld. De natuur heeft haar rechten als toevluchtsoord voor insecten, vogels en knaagdieren teruggewonnen. Er heerst een romantische sfeer in de lente, maar ook in de herfst of winter als de sneeuw komt. Het monumentale begrafeniserfgoed van de begrafenissen van de bourgeoisie van Ucclesia is belangrijk. De site herbergt ook een belangrijke Ashkenazi Joodse begraafplaats.
