It's never too early to plan a spring clean up, even in the middle of a Polar Vortex!
Please join Boy Scout Troop 29 for a meet-n-greet and park clean up at Germantown's Veterans Memorial Park. The event is in the picnic shelter at 2pm. We will have garbage bags and rubber gloves for trash clean up. There is plenty of parking on three sides of the park, with sidewalks that lead to the shelter. Troop 29 has been working hard on their Geocaching merit badge, and they are excited to meet other geocachers.
Veterans Memorial Park is kid-friendly, complete with playground next to the picnic shelter. This park is the center of many social events within our community, and includes a gazebo, railroad depot, and log cabin, and a caboose.
