Texas Geocampers @ Colorado Bend State Park
We are a group of geocachers who hold monthly events touring the great State Parks of Texas! Our group will camp in a different Texas State Park every month. For this event, we will be camping in the River Group camping area, and we have reserved the entire area for the weekend. There will be activities and ranger-led events, allowing us to experience all that Texas has to offer! This GeoCampers event is planned for the weekend of April 13th, however some camping geocachers will begin arriving on the 12th to take full advantage of the weekend's camping and caching opportunities! You don't have to camp to attend, but camping is highly encouraged!
***Note*** We will be meeting at the Gorman Falls Trail Head at 10:30 AM on the 13th. From here we can hike to the falls as a group. It is a 3 mile hike round trip with -200 feet of elevation gain on the way there and 200 feet on the way back. The pay off will be the beautiful 65 foot waterfall at the end! Dont miss this great hike!

* We will also be planning to do some kayaking on the Coloroado River either Friday or Saturday. If you are interested in this please make note of it in your "will attend log".
