Gooseberry Crumble
Every year we collect an abundance of gooseberries from our Allotment. I have created a Mystery cache is honour of the humble gooseberry.
Ingredients
500g Gooseberries, Topped and Tailed
200g Plain Flour
100gGolden Caster Sugar
100g Butter.
So easy to make.
Top and tail the gooseberries and wash. Place in container of your choice. Then mix the Flour and butter until resembles fine breadcrumbs, Stir in the sugar. Place the flour mix on top of fruit and bake for 45 - 50 mins in oven 180c
Serve with custard or ice cream.
