This cache can be found along Dotton Lane. Turns out that Dotton itself was once an ‘extra-parochial’ area, considered to be neither within the boundaries and control of either Newton Poppleford or Colaton Raleigh, and was home to its own chapel until the 13th Century. In White’s Devonshire Directory of 1850, it was said to consist of 160 acres of farmland and the home to ‘17 souls’. It is now considered to be part of the parish of Colaton Raleigh.
This is one of those teeeeeny-weeeeeeny little nano caches. Watch out for them muggles as you find and replace it carefully. Keep tucked onto the grass verge with an eye on the traffic as well as some roustabouts will drive too fast in their wagons.
