This cache is on the disused Meon Valley Railway, which makes a lovely walk if you're looking for a slightly easier route. You are looking for a clear, cylindrical micro cache. You will need your own pencil and possibly tweezers. Please be careful not to push this further in when getting the cache out
This cache is part of a series that makes up a scout hike in the area. The suggested route starts with the disused railway under Buddens Lane, in Woodend, making use of part of the Velotrail series. The route then branches off onto the Allan King and follows this into Swanmore and back to the disused railway. In total the route can take 2-21/2 hours but it can be shortened or lengthened dpending on your needs.
Lots of the nearby roads don't have footpaths, so children should be supervised and when looking for the geocaches please stick to the public rights of way. It can get muddy, so hiking boots or wellies are reccommended.
