As you know, the Autobot Transformers are always on the run from the evil Decepticons. They often need to create makeshift bases/forts/camps/shelters in the middle of the forest to evade detection. This series is designed to take you to some of their forgotten 'hideouts'...
An Energon cube was hidden in the forest near an abandoned Autobot hideout.
You can find it at the following location:
N 45° 18.(D+2)(A+B-1)0' W 075° 50.1(C-2)(E+1)'
At stages 1, 2 and 4, you will need to observe your surroundings. What you find there will be associated with a number that you will need in order to determine the final coordinates. The "corresponding number" and coordinates to visit are listed below.
The corresponding number for each "object" that is found at the stages:
- 1 = A single wooden energy recuperation construct
- 2 = An oil/waste evacuation station
- 3 = A stash of Transformer mobility devices
- 4 = A tall defense lookout platform
- 5 = Nutrition stations ("Like what?" you may ask... click here to find out: Cybertronian food ... *nom nom nom*)
Destinations to "Observe" at:
- A = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 18.178' W 75° 50.016' (corresponds to Stage 1)
- B = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 18.186' W 75° 50.032' (corresponds to Stage 2) (Note: This is NOT the garbage can nearby, it's the other 'thing')
- C = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 18.172' W 75° 50.068' (corresponds to Stage 4)
At the Autobot Hideout (Stage 3), answer the following questions to determine the value for D and E.
- D = 1 if the hideout is more triangular in structure, or 0 if the hideout is more square.
- E = If you were standing in the Autobot Hideout, and were to exit the obvious main entrance, what direction would you be travelling in? 1 for South-East, 3 for South-West, 5 for North-West, 9 for North-East
