If you have been following the trail from Faithlegg, you have made your way out of Passage and are continuing onwards towards Crooke. Now is a good time to pause and think about the experiences you have just had in that little fishing village these days better known for its traffic jams at peak river crossing times, as cars wait for the ferry. These days the cars tend to turn off their engines as they wait, at least.
The streets are confined, and the houses poor and neglected, exhibiting evident marks of a declining place.
Do you agree? I think it's quite pretty myself.
