This cache is situated adjacent to the Itchen Way footpath, on a little travelled section.
Suggested parking is available free at N 50 56.364 W 1 21.890. Note this Car Park is locked at Dusk. Alternative parking is available slightly further East along the road, however you will need to ensure you are the Right side of the river to avoid being Left with a problem if you park here.
The cache is then a walk of approx. 3/4 mile. The route will take you alongside the motorway, and under it, and close enough to the end of the Airport runway to read the make of the Pilot's sunglasses!
The ground underfoot will be wet in winter, but the cache is placed in such a way that it should remain dry.
The cache itself is a Plastic lunch box with a blue lid, and contains the usual range of items.
Please be careful removing the cache and replacing it to ensure it is not visable.
As an additional piece of fun, see if you can spot a sign of Fierce Creatures.
