A small cache placed atop a ridge along the road, an astonishing vista awaits geocaching enthusiasts. Rabbit (one half of our cache finding duo) has lived in the area for 20+ years, when I (Giggity) moved here with her, any kind of phone signal was totally non-existent in the lower lying regions of the area. Anyone wanting to make a mobile call or send a text message had to venture upwards, up the hill to what is known as the reception spot. The area is now well covered thanks to a large repeater, However those keen on a bit of a hike, there is still an incredible view of the surrounding area spanning as far as the eye can see.
