Welcome to the Mildura Water Play Park, a popular location for locals and visitors alike, especially in the warmer months. The Water Play Park is a great spot to bring the kids to have a splash, or if splashing isn’t your cup of tea grab a coffee at a nearby cafe, read a book under a shady tree or just take a stroll and enjoy the beauty of the Murray River. The area really has something for everyone!

Before you stands The Longwe (or canoe) Tree. This sculpture was the result of a collaborative process between local artist Lindsay Butcher and the Mildura Riverfront Aboriginal Reference group, constructed by Meridian Engineering. The sculpture is a contemporary interpretation of a ‘scarred tree’ and signifies a continued connection between the first people and country for thousands of years. As you can see this little island is also popular with the local ducks.

At this location you will find signage with a map of the local shopping and riverfront precincts, which identifies the location of key attractions and public facilities.

Here you will see a large rock wall with water jets spraying water into a section of the water park.
