Geocache Description:


Another winter friendly cache placed in Basswood Pond State Forest. This cache is at the edge of an area recently clear cut. I placed this cache on snow shoes with about 18" of snow on the ground. The terrain was a bit challenging then and I assume will be equally challenging in the muddy season. I took the long way to place this cache but found a bit more direct route after the fact. There is no trail or logging road within 500' of this cache so you'll be bushwhacking the last bit. No need to cross any posted signs. This cache is within the state forest boundaries.
