The cache is not on church property.
Our Lady of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church is part of the parish of North Hinksey in Oxford. It was built in 1955. Mass is held on several days of the week. The church describes itself as ‘a thriving one for all ages, including a strong presence of young families.’
Car parking is either in the large church car park, or on the street close by. The cache is a brown tube. This is one of three Church Micros placed in February 2019 within a mile of this location. To reach North Hinksey on foot or by bicycle, an underpass is accessible just 300 yards south-east of this cache.
Geocaching Etiquette. geocaching.com states under 'Help Center' in Paragraph 1.7: 'We like to keep things fun for everyone, so we have a few rules we encourage everyone to follow. Sign both the logbook and log your find online to get your smiley. Geocache owners love reading about your experience'. There are more rules, but this is the first one. This cache owner requests that if on the rare occasion geocachers are unable to sign, an explanation is given in their log. A photo of the cache, if possible should then be sent through the messaging system.
