A little birdy came to South Park and all it did all day long was CHIRP! The other animals in South Park grew tired of this constant CHRIPing and they got tired of listening to this little birdy. The rest of the animals demanded that the little birdy leave. It refused to leave and it continued to CHIRP all day long. Eventually, the little birdy took the hint from the cold shoulder it was receiving and flew south. This little birdy however decided to leave behind its CHIRP so others could use the instructions given by it to find the hidden treasure that was once its house.
You might have deducted from reading the story about that you will need a GPS that can pick up the signal left behind by the little birdy. Once you have acquired the coordinates left behind, you can then proceed down the trail to the final. Your total walk will be about a mile long. The container that you are looking for is a small to medium size lock n lock, hidden in typical southwestern PA style. You do not have to locate the beacon to acquire the coordinates. If you do see the beacon, leave it along. There are no coordinates on the beacon or the container that the beacon is in. You should pick up the beacon about 15 to 30 feet away. Make sure your GPS is searching for the beacon. Otherwise, you will not be able to pick the signal and obtain the information needed for the final of this cache.
South Park is open from sunrise to midnight. The county park's office knows this cache is here and they have approved its location. A sturdy hiking stick will be a good idea, as well as a sturdy pair of hiking boats as this trail is very muddy and very slick.
