This cache has been archived.

joeyAln: Well - when the snail is broken, the snail mail box no longer makes sense. Thanks to all cachers for their interest. Hopefully I could place some more in due course.

Geocache Description:

Snail Mail Boxes - Ealing Common to Acton Town

The traditional letter is being replaced rapidly by emails and other electronic messaging services. Snail Mail - as my friends and I used to describe such physical means - relies on post boxes: three of which lie on the way from Ealing Common Station to Acton Town Station. On a fine sunny day, you could perhaps be persuaded to walk one tube stop on your otherwise monotonous daily commute to find this cache?

At each of the snail mail boxes, you will need to find the box number.

The first box is at N51°30.595, W0°17.370. The postbox number is W5 ABD.

The second is at N51°30.435, W0°17.307. The postbox number is W5 FG.

The third is at N51°30.200, W0°17.151, with number W3 JKD.

If you want, let us know which walks between two consecutive tube stations you enjoy the most, when you log your find!

The themed cache waits for you at N51°30.(A-F)(J-K)(B+G), W000°17.(F-K)(A-B)(B+G-F). Please bring tweezers and pen to do the usual admin! The cache is a bit shy, and would rather not have its photos published.
