Geocache Description:

The scrubjay crew is bringing flowers (and plants!) for a spring fling - remember that some flowers will be easy to find and others may require a search.

Kale or leaf cabbage are certain cultivars of cabbage grown for their edible leaves. A kale plant has green or purple leaves and the central leaves do not form a head. Kales are considered to be closer to wild cabbage than most domesticated forms of Brassica oleracea. Kale can be grown during the winter months in Florida. It's often referred to as a superfood because it's rich in iron, calcium, and vitamins A, C, and K.

Placement of this geocache has been approved by Rob Rossmanith, Park Biologist. Please remember, all wheels off the paved road when parking. Do not block any gates or trailheads, and follow the posted speed limits.
