Another time to celebrate the Spring Equinox.
This is a great time of year because we can now look forward to well over 6 months of longer days than nights.
At this time of year sunrise and sunset are 12 hours apart but since it comes light about 45 mins before sunrise we are graced with daylight for almost 14 hours a day and so it will be until well into October.
So at this celebration of daylight we will chat about our winter stories of soggy boxes and frozen fingers.
We will meet at The Shooter inn, Southfield Ln, Southfield, Burnley BB10 3RJ
I intend to eat there before or during the meeting which will be from 5pm to 6pm
There will be a log book to sign, though this is not compulsory, and a lucky signatory will be randomly chosen to claim FTF at this evnet.
Finally, I have been planning a new series not too far away and i hope to get this published about a week before this event so if you fancy meeting after a walk you will be able to justify eating a hearty dinner with us.
Please log your intention to attend and I will book a table, since last time we were here it was tricky getting a table.
