This cache has been in the works for over a year...for a whole host of reasons! It is placed in the "Cathedral", a set of Eucalyptus trees planted in the shape of a cross by Rosemary and Peter Mackay James in the 1970s. It's a copy of another Cathedral of Trees planted in the early 1920s by Alexander Mackay (Rosemary’s grandfather) in Scotland, and is one of my favorite spots on the property. An easy ~0.33mi walk from the parking area will get you to the location.
Finding the cache should be fairly simple...but signing the log? That's a whole 'nother animal!
I'll highly recommend taking the cache from it's hiding spot and opening it on the more open ground of the Cathedral (just please put it back when you're done). Oh, and pack your patience too--you'll need it! And one last thing: a geocache is not officially found (and loggable here on the website) without physically signing the *actual* log...so please don't make me have to delete your smilie for not doing so!
The log is paper--remember that!
