The 2,900 acres of Two Mile Prairie Area are maintained by The Florida Forest Service and is a Water Management Area.

Hiking
Johnson Pond
is the trail head for Hiking and includes approx 3 miles of marked trails. The trails are wide and well marked, but because of the rough terrain and diverse ecosystems the hike is rated Moderate.
Marked by Yellow Blazes, the hiking trail joins the Equestrian trail, marked by Blue blazes, for a short distance before they separate again. This point is marked by a way-point.

is the trail head for Trail Riders and includes 8.3 miles of riding trails. The cache may be reached by horseback via the Sand Hill portion of the trail.
