my brother Korichnovui and I wanted to do this style of cache. We are separated by a geographical distance of about 600 miles, but united by a love of caching!
This is a teamwork cache! It is rated 4 stars on difficulty because it may require more than 1 trip to the geozone, and because it is asking for a little bit of social skills! Other than that, it's not difficult.
The information found at this Stage 1 is for a corresponding geocache over 600 miles away in Washington, (GC7YEM0) and the information to find Stage 2 for this cache can be found at Stage 1 of the Washington cache.
That's quite the road trip for solving this cache on your own. Fortunately, there is an easier way! Pair up with a Washington geocacher and exchange the information--teamwork! Then you can solve and claim a find for this UT cache, and they can solve and claim a find for their WA one.
(Do not claim a find on the WA cache without actually signing the log in WA)
Step 1 -- Pair up with a teammate
You have some options here. You could...
A. post a note on this cache page requesting a WA teammate
B. post a note on the WA cache page requesting a WA teammate
C. do both of those things
D. find a note on this page from a WA player requesting a UT teammate, and send that player a private message
E. find a note on the WA cache page from a WA player requesting a UT teammate, and send that player a private message
If you opt to be the one posting a note, be sure to indicate whether you are a WA cacher or a UT cacher, or whether you are seeking a UT cacher or a WA cacher. If it were me, I would say, "I'm a UT cacher looking to team up with a WA cacher."
Step 2 -- Please consider deleting your note log(s) after you are teamed up with someone.
This step is not required, but may be helpful for cache health, and may give clarity to people still looking for partners.
Step 3 -- Go to the posted coordinates (stage 1)
This location contains virtual information to find the Washington stage 2, not the Utah stage 2! You must find this information for your partner, and trust that they will do the same for you in Washington.
At the posted coordinates, find a white sign containing lots of information, including rules listed as bullet points. The keyword your partner needs is the 4th word of the 4th bullet point (5 letters). Please share this information with them privately, not on the cache page.
Step 4 -- Exchange information
Give the keyword you discovered to your partner (do not post it on this cache page!), and meanwhile you will need to wait to receive a keyword from your partner. Once you get a keyword from your partner, enter it into Certitude (click the Certitude icon below) to get the final coordinates.
Step 5 -- Find Stage 2 (final stage)
Once you got the keyword from your WA partner and used it to get the coordinates from Certitude, go find the cache! Remember, don't log a find on the Washington cache page without physically signing that log!

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
