An easy park and grab after following the directions from the published coordinates.
The published coordinates will take you to a turn off into a picnic spot. Turn into the picnic spot and drive approximately 100 meters into the picnic spot. On your drive you will find two large signs after you have entered the gate. Read the first one carefully. Predators can still get into the area. Stop at the second sign which will explain where the refuse bins are to be found (or not). The cache is behind this sign under a rock.
The picnic area is a great place to stop for a braai or picnic. Even for a quick swim in the pool. The area is always kept neat and tidy and the pool is clean.
The picnic spot is situated in the Mountain Zebra National Park. You will be given advice on the rules of at Park at the entrance gate. Please take note of the area where you may alight your car. Also note of the warning signs regarding predators.
The gate times are:
October to March - 07:00 to 19:00
April to September - 07:00 to 18:00
