Here we are now, on one of what appears to be a dozen (no exaggeration) traditional trails behind this water tower, up on Kenmount. As you walk through this wooded area, realize that within a few kilometers to your left, right, and behind you there is about 35% of the province's population (click on the pic above for the source of this info, "World Population Review". St. John's, Mount Pearl, Paradise, CBS and Torbay accounted for 185,000 in population in 2013; the population of the whole province was approximately 536,000).
Yet, here you are, in the "middle of the woods" it seems. The only giveaway that you are in the middle of metro would be if you came at night, and the "light pollution" would have a bit of a glow over nightfall.
As for the cache, the trail brings you to an intersection not long after the water tower. Choose left, and you will go on to caches four through seven in the series. Make a slight diversion to the path on the right, and you will find cache number three.
This cache is a 300mL camo'd lock-n-lock, hidden in a winter friendly manner. Please be careful to replace the cache as originally hidden.
