Hampshire Midweek Monthly Meet #124
Our venue for this evenings meeting is The Jolly Farmer, Binsted Road, Blacknest, Alton, Hampshire, GU34 4QD, (tel 01420 222444)
we are meeting in the "Skittle Alley function Room" which entering from the carpark is at the end of the bar and to the right. we are using it as a function room so will not be playing skittles tonight. children and geo-hounds welcome. Your Hosts are WhatRobot and Sue and Ian hope to welcome you from 1830 onwards.
The Jolly Farmer is located a couple of miles east of Bentley Railway station, and is easily accessible from the A31 Alton to Farnham road or the A325 Bordon to Farnham road. so easily accessible to those from both the north and south of the county as well as those from across the border in Surrey who are also welcome to join us.
Food is available on the night and as well as the bar menu which can change seasonally there may be some specials on the night, to avoid long waits for you food you are advised to pre-order your food a couple of days before directly with the staff Tel: 01420 222444 who can also tell you about any weekly specials etc. Order with your name and mention the "Geocaching meet in the skittle alley function room", the link for the online menu is www.jollyfarmerblacknest.co.uk/food/main-menu
We have had to pay a £5ph / £200 deposit for the event room use but the food and drink orders for the night should cover it if the usual suspects attend. and the location will hopefully draw members from both the north and south of the county.
There will be the usual fantastic raffle organised by Geojaxx, also please sign the attendance logbook and check out the Treasure Chest for the dipping, discovery, and exchange of travel bugs and Geocoins. And if Mr. Cryptic is attending you may be able to get a cryptic hint to one of the puzzle caches that are doing your head in.
If you have not been to an event cache before, would like to experience something different and have the chance to meet other cachers, then please come along and join us. we are a friendly bunch and all ages and geo-hounds are welcome.
