Geocache Description:

This cache is a skull!  No, it's not human; it's a halloween item.  The cache is placed inside a slide lock bag to keep moisture out(please be sure its closed before placing it back)  This is # 4of 11 in my cemetery series. This is a very interesting cemetery - many of the stones date back back to the Civil War and earlier. The stones towards the entrance of course are the oldest , where you'll find many dating back to the 1700's. I've walked this cemetery at least 4 times before and now a 5th time in which revealed a NEW find for me! I've visited well over a 100 cemetery's before , many with stones dating back to the 1700's - but after carefully reading the stones on this trip - the 2nd or 3rd row along the entrance revealed a granite, tall stone with the name Burrow(spelled 2 ways including the old english "Burrowe which dates back to 1606 as the birth date in Yarmouth,England and died in Plymouth,Mass & buried here in Goshen,Mass-this is by far the oldest grave stone that i've seen any where! Your able to drive into the cemetery (w/no snow)to get very close to GZ. The cache is located along the cemetery wall in the back. This cache was updated on 5/12/21'. Thank you! Quiet Bear
