Here is a story about a family living in the centre of the world, which of course is Port Macquarie according to a local group at the given co-ords (which btw you need to go to!) You may have previously thought that the centre of the world was Felicity, California, or the Great Pyramid of Giza, or even Jerusalem – but no as you will see, it is right here.
The clues to find the exact centre and a cache as a bonus, are in the story:
Introduction
A mother and father, Adel and Sid had two precious children called Mel and Tim and one morning a typical discussion was heard starting with where the children came from:
The Story
“Mel asks in an indignant manner where she was born as she always suspected that she didn't quite fit into this family and Tim thought that he had been bucked a couple of times when he was being delivered as he had this big lump on his head! Sid who had a sore knee said that if they kept this sort of talk going he would have to get Adel's help to straighten them out. Adel, being one of those free spirited people, just wanted to get out of there and roam around in their van that was covered in weird slogans. Mel then says – ok mum, I'm going to buy something to cheer me up? Well says Adel in a tone that is soothing, have you heard of the saying “hand a man a hammer”? Sure have says Mel. So why don't you surprise your dad and buy him a hammer, or even that anchor that he has wanted for an age! OK – but what about a pan for you ma? Oh – you’re a sweet child says Adel and that's why you are really our little girl.
So Mel puts on her cape and heads off to town via the Bay Road and by jingo – looking south down past the flag pole she sees a car and wonders to whom it belongs to. It looks very familiar as she approaches it and then realises that it's their van and neither Adel nor Sid are driving it! Mum is going to be devastated when she finds out their precious hippy van has been stolen!”

Check sum – S = 31, E = 32
The cache is a small container hidden in natural outer camo, which adds to the Difficulty rating. You will need to let your GPSr settle for a while as it is on a slope - look at the T rating.
