This is Jenny's favorite Lighthouse
This is a virtual site at the top of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse. You must email me the answer to a question to log this cache. Be prepared to pay a $7.00 per carload fee to enter the site. This lighthouse is the tallest on the Oregon Coast. The only way to the top of the lighthouse is to climb the stairs. I have recently been informed that although the park opens at 10:00 AM, the lighthouse does not open until Noon, so plan accordingly! The lighthouse has been closed to the public recently, but I've been informed that it will be open for tours again starting on June 30th, 2013. Answer the following question in order to log your find: How many steps are there to get to the front door? Bonus question, Please tell me how many steps do you take to get to the Watchroom, not including those outside? Please don't include your answer in your log, even if encrypted. While at this site, enjoy the great view and the interpretive center. Then pay a visit to the historic lighthouse to the south, at the entrance to Yaquina Bay.
