Farmers Market on Sundays (8am to noon). The market only sells produce and food and drink items grown or produced in the Waikato (or within a 100 km radius). There is good coffee and other drinks to be had and lovely to sit under the trees (at least in summer).
The Farmers Market used to be at River Road but then was moved to other places, ending here now. Market can be accessed by car, but here is a nice little gate for bicycles and pedestrians around the corner on Brooklyn Rd near Gate 4.
