This cache is hidden just above a bluff along the Payette River.
The terrain and difficulty are relatively modest. No need to go
over the bank's edge as this cache is located on top.
This cache lies discreetly on a high riverbank within a few miles
of the Idaho/Oregon border and near the convergence of two major
rivers, the Snake and the Payette. As the first in Payette County,
this cache is located on private property (with the owner's
permission) in an ammo box. You may park along the main road and
walk down the gravel drive until you reach the horse corral. You
will find the cache northwest of the horses. Beware of the steep
incline over the edge of the bluff. The cache is on top of the
bluff so you do not need to go over the edge. If you fall, it's a
long way down and the berries will only slow you down on your way
to the river. Enjoy the view once you arrive, and help yourself to
an exchange of the "treasures" found within the cache.
