In April of 1930 (Showa 5), the school officially established Yongle Public School, which enrolled 3 classes, with 172 students, and was headed by Taiping Shengmao, the president of Taipinggong School. In the 6th year of the Showa era (1931), the school also established a high school, and Yongyuan Guangyi was the principal. In the 7th year of the Showa (1932), the first graduate of the higher division. In March of the 10th year of the Showa (1935), the higher department was abolished, and the president of Inada was appointed as the principal. In March of the 11th year of the Showa era (1936), the first graduated from high school. In April 1941 (Showa 16), after the beginning of the Second World War, the colonial government changed the Taiwanese people to Japan and transformed Taiwan from other places into a land. In the 16th year of the Showa era (1941), the "Taiwan Education Order" was amended. The primary general education was changed to the "National School Order", and the small and public schools were renamed the National School. The school name was changed to Taipei Yongle National School, and is still the president of Inada.
In 1945 (34 years of the Republic of China), the Republic of China took over Taiwan and accepted Commissioner Wu Hao as the first acting principal after the war. In 1946 (35 years of the Republic of China), the name of the school was changed to Yongle National School in Yanping District, Taipei. In March of the same year, he was transferred to Ye Shizhen as acting principal. In September 1946 (the 35th year of the Republic of China), a kindergarten was established. In 1947 (the 36th year of the Republic of China), he was appointed as the principal of Ye Shizhen in March. In 1948 (37 years of the Republic of China), Lin Qingnan was appointed as the principal of this school in September. In 1952 (the 41st year of the Republic of China), Chen Qingji was appointed as the principal of this school in April. Chen Meiying is the director of the kindergarten. In 1963 (54 years of the Republic of China), Li Jinyu was appointed as the principal of this school in September. In September 1968 (57th year of the Republic of China), it was reorganized into Yongle National Primary School in Yanping District, Taipei City. In March 1989 (the year of the Republic of China), in March, due to the adjustment of administrative divisions, it was changed to Yongle National Primary School in Datong District, Taipei City.
1930年（昭和5年）4月，此校現址正式創立永樂公學校，招生3班，學生人數172人，並由太平公學校校長中野勝馬兼理校務。昭和6年（1931）此校兼設高等科，永原光義任校長。昭和7年3月（1932）高等科第一屆畢業。昭和10年3月（1935）高等科廢止，稻田清任校長。昭和11年3月（1936）高小第一屆畢業。1941年（昭和16年）4月，二次世界大戰開始後，殖民政府為使臺灣人徹底日本化，將外地的臺灣轉變成本土，因此推行皇民化教育政策。昭和16年（1941）三月修訂「臺灣教育令」，初等普通教育改依「國民學校令」，將小、公學校一律改稱國民學校。此校校名改為臺北市永樂國民學校， 仍由稻田清任校長。
1945年（民國34年），中華民國接管臺灣，接收委員吳滄鍙擔任戰後首任代理校長。1946(民國35年)2月，校名改為臺北市延平區永樂國民學校。同年3月調任葉士蜅為代理校長。1946年（民國35年）9月，創立附設幼稚園。1947(民國36年)3月派任葉士蜅為校長。1948(民國37年)9月派任林清南為此校校長。1952(民國41年)4月派任陳清吉為此校校長。陳美瑩為幼稚園主任。1963(民國54年)9月派任李金蟬為此校校長。1968年（民國57年）9月，改制為臺北市延平區永樂國民小學。1989年（民國78年）3月，因應行政區劃調整，改為臺北市大同區永樂國民小學。
