Geocache Description:

Long range plans propose trail connection of Duman Lake Park to the Ghost Town Trail. Although Cambria County offers several rai-trail opportunities, the connection above won’t be a rail-trail that follows this track corridor though. Like the Mine payroll carried by the C&I described in the nearby Belsano Job cache, this essential rail service has carried its share of priceless cargo over the years. Cache searches should not be conducted during periods when the train is active.

Duman Lake Park is a Cambria County operated park. The Park covers 71 acres of woods and open space. It offers picnic pavilions, camping, sports fields/courts and is located adjacent to the PA Fish Commission’s 19-acre Duman Lake.

Please rehide with rock cover as shown in spoiler pic to assure the cache doesn't get knocked out of place.

This is Featured Cache #12 of the Cambria TRAILS Geotrail, which highlights the diverse TRAIL amenities of the area. Be sure to collect and record the Code Word from in (or near, in the case of micros) the cache to your official Passport, which can be obtained from the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. A map and list of all caches featured in the Geotrail can be found at the Geotrail page (visit link) .

Attendees of the Geotrail launch event were given the advanced release of this cache listing, so the FTF is probably already entered in the logbook.
