I met TElg78 when he hosted a meet and greet in Marrakesh in 2017 and now he is coming to Calgary! I told him that if he was ever in Western Canada to come by and that I would introduce him to our great cachers and geocaches. He is coming with stories and travel bugs to trade/share.
Plans are already underway for a great adventure! Zoogirl1 and I have been scouting for great caches. Heading to High River for one day. Open to Suggestions. He is only here until April 20.
This time is a simple meet and greet to share the joys of local and international caching, camaraderie, swap travel bugs and tell (tall) tails of the trails!
For whom? This event is for YOU! Regardless of whether you have found a handful of caches or thousands of them, or you just have a burgeoning interest, all are welcome! Perhaps you have relatives in Norway or have cached there yourself!
When? 5:30 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, 17 April 2019. (Yes, it is a week night!)
Where? St James Corner Restaurant & Irish Pub, 1219 1st Street SW, Calgary, or just use the convenient coordinates posted above). Upstairs in the balcony room
Why? Have dinner, snacks, or just a drink! Meet a cacher who has travelled the world. Share stories. Trade a coin or travel bug.
Order a drink or a meal. A 15% gratuity will be added to orders just like at the regular P&B events.
