Geocache Description:

Goodness, I couldn't think of much that starts with "q".  But Hikermom found this cute poem.

"Q is for queen with a crown on her head,
Q is for quilt that covers my bed.
Q is for questions that I like asking,
Q is for ducklings' quack-quack-quacking.
Q is for quarter and quick and quill,
I like Q and I always will."
Annonymous

But another word that starts with "Q" is quality and I'm placing this cache in honor of our friend BrickerJohn.  He has some wonderful quality caches near here.  Check them out.

From A History of Rusk County Texas by Dorman H. Winfrey "In 1860 Old Minden near the present touwn, consisted of a school, a store, and a church.  It was located on the old stagecoach line which extended from Marshall to Nacogdoches."  ..."In March, 1880, G.I. Watkins opened the Rock Hill Institue.  The school was enlarged several times, had a library and a string orcherstra".... "In 1940 a population of 250 was reported".

This cache is hidden well, large enough for a bit of swag.  Please be respectful of the area and replace as found.  Bring your own pen.  Let me know if any of my caches need attention, I'll try to get right on it.  Happy Caching!
