La géocache se trouve au cœur des plantations et de la forêt tropicale de Nosy Komba, au milieu de l’écovillage qui se situe à 400m d’altitude.
L’accès se fait à pied, ici pas de véhicules ni de routes.
Il faut compter 1h15 de marche dans la forêt via Ampangorina ou 2h depuis Anjiabe.
Au départ d'Ampangorina, suivez les marques blanches ou les marques jaunes et rouges de la Maki Run et ensuite il y a des panneaux(AKIBA). (Si vous avez peur de vous perdre, vous pouvez toujours louer les services d’un guide (approx 3€)

Vous trouverez également une talentueuse école, donnée en langue française avec des préceptes modernes et alternatifs.
Non seulement vous pourrez trouver une géocache mais aussi un lieu paisible et typique, vous pouvez y séjourner le temps d’un verre, d’un repas, voir même d’une nuit.
Si le cœur vous en dit, le sommet n’est pas bien loin, une demi-heure de marche pour un point de vue extraordinaire !

Vu que la cache physique disparait à chaque passage, il n'y a malheureusement plus de logbook à signer. Pour valider la cache, prenez une photo (Avec vous, un objet voyageur ou autre souvenir) face à l'un des bâtiments d'Akiba. A joindre à votre log.

Not only can you find a geocache but also a peaceful and typical place, you can stay there for a drink, a meal, or even a night.
