This cache can be accessed via the well known and loved Carrick Little parking area & Follow the path (passing through the Belfast and district water commissioners steel gate at the Mourne wall) until you pass the Annalong wood and then turn to you right to access this geocache placement.
Do come prepared for extremely changable weather, as this is a mountain environment. Also it pays to watch every step as there is always a very real possibility of getting into difficulty here at such an unforgiving location. Always hike with experienced friends. Take care.

Manys a time I have set up camp in the mighty Mountains of Mourne. This is always an experience never to forgotten, especially when greeted to a sublime view of our Milky Way Galaxy + a few Meters into the bargain. Wild Camping on the mountains is generally tolerated by landowners, however, it is of course important to respect this gorgeous landscape / livestock and of course the local farming communities. Close all gates, light no fires, and leave no litter. Enjoy!
