Better Call Saul is the prequel series to Breaking Bad. Like that series, it is filmed in and around Albuquerque. It tells the story how Jimmy McGill comes to be known as "Saul Goodman", the lawyer who put "criminal" in "criminal defense lawyer".
The fictitious Madrigal Elektromotoren GmbH, or Madrigal Electromotive, is a large company headquartered in Germany. Gus Fring's Los Pollos Hermanos chain is one of many subsidiaries.
In Better Call Saul, Mike Ehrmantraut meets Lydia here, at the Houston Texas office, to be hired and paid on a cover job to Los Pollos Hermanos. Mike prefers it be as a "security consultant" - closer to the truth. The scene was filmed in the windowed office of the real-life offices of Scott & Kienzle, the silver metal-sided building across on the hill. Are there hills like this in Houston?
The company and its employees play a bigger part in the Breaking Bad series.
You can park right at ground zero on the south side of Las Lomas, heading uphill. No need to leave the sidewalk or even leave the street really.
