This cache will bring you to the site of the former Berringama State School. It opened in June 1890 and closed in March 1970. There is little here now but lots of blackberries, a couple of sheds and a rock with a memorial plaque out the front.
If you are travelling westbound you are able to park nearby across the road. If you are travelling eastbound you need to park at the parking WP near the CFA shed and then walk along the edge of the road to the cache.
This is part of the CASHES (Corryong And Surrounds Historic Exploration Series)
