St Christopher Church - Thornhill

Situated on Hinkler Road, this church was built in 1960 by architect Sebastian Comper. It is a small rectangular brick building with Neo-Tudor side windows. The pulpit is thought to date from 1781 and was originally built for Winchester Cathedral.                                                                             It was donated by the congregation of the Saxon church of Tidcombe in Wiltshire, who were anxious that it should return to the Winchester diocese.

To find the cache please take note of number from the rectangular drain cover on the ground in front of this church (you might be standing it) This will give you B C

The cache can be found at          N50 54.(C+2)(B+C+B)(C+C-2)  W01 19. (Cx2-1)(C+B)(Bx4)

Good luck
