If you haven't yet started then download the most recent version of the cartridge . Please note that you DO NOT need to go to the start coordinates to play the cartridge. It can be started anywhere in Scotland. Also please note that the cartridge works much better on Android than iPhone as the iPhone app does not render the zones on the map or filter the zones to only show those close to you.
It is 1290. Margaret, Maid of Norway and Queen of Scots has just died and Scotland has entered an interregnum. Several competitors to the crown put forward claims during the Great Cause. Edward I of England considers Scotland a vassal state and wants a puppet Monarch. Your first task is to find a seat for your Clan.
There are several unoccupied castles throughout Scotland which could be your Seat. There is a list below. To claim an unoccupied castle as your Seat you simply have to visit it. To avoid your map becoming too cluttered with zones you will only see unoccupied castles within 50kms of your current location. As you move around Scotland so castles will come and go from your map. Once you have claimed a castle as your seat you will be able to see the location of the TAKE A SEAT cache on the map.
You must take a seat before you can complete any of the other tasks within the cartridge. Several of the other tasks relate to Kudos points. This is is your score within the game. The more Kudos you have the more support you have towards your claim to the throne. Any unoccupied castle can act as your seat, however note that the Kudos score for each castle can vary. The Kudos score for each unoccupied castle is given below. You can continue to take control of other unoccupied castles throughout the game but the castle you select as your Seat will count double towards your overall Kudos score. So the higher the scoring Seat you choice the more it will help you progress towards completing other tasks within the game.

Please note this is a very large cartridge with around 200 zones and 40 tasks. You will have to travel to various parts of Scotland to complete the series. The cartridge is based upon real events at real locations. The cartridge has been optimised to run on Android Smartphones.
