Groundspeak have declared the 25th March 2019 – 14th April 2019 as Cache Carnival!
Join in to celebrate geocaching creativity and diversity around the world and earn up to 6 digital souvenirs for your profile!

Poltair School Science Breakout Area, Trevarthian Road, St Austell Cornwall PL25 4BZ
The lovely people at Poltair School have kindly agreed for us to use their Breakout Area to host this event.

What?
An Event to highlight cache quality and assist with cache creation.

Hands-on help will be available on a wide variety of technical topics such as the guidelines for hiding caches, using html to format cache listings, creating a Wherigo Cartridge, setting up Puzzle caches and how to waterproof and camouflage your own cache containers.

There will be a wide variety of gadget caches for you to play with for inspiration too!

Of course, there will also be time for socialising over a cuppa and story sharing so please come prepared to share your experience of a quality cache that you have created or visited.

Some cachers may remember this event from a few years ago where I hosted a cache building workshop and people brought along examples of caches that they'd made or containers that they wanted to turn into caches. It would be great if the community would be willing to support this initiative again, so please say in your log if you are prepared to participate in a making workshop or bring along things to make into a cache for yourself or others to hide.
