Geocache Description:

Francis Edward Hyde was the main proponent of the formation of the Meningie Council in 1887 and was the first Chairman of Council.

He laid the foundation stone at the Chambers building on the 15th February 1889.

The coordinates will take you to the far northern end of the street named after him on the outskirts of town.

This pretty end of the Avenue is a good spot to stretch the legs, walk the dog, have a swim, or just admire Lake Albert.

The cache is of small to regular size, holding a good sized log book and pencil with room for swag!

(There is something specific for FTF, 2nd To Find and 3rd To Find. Please leave something behind if you take any other trinket)
