Join the fun for a geaocaching workshop in Aberdeen.
Cache carnival is here and you can earn a virtual souvenir by attending a registered cache carnival event. There will be a variety of workshops and groups to take part in please see below for more information. This cache carnival event will be held in Kincorth Community centre from 12 midday until 15:00. Introduction to Geocaching 101
At the Aberdeen event there is an opportunity to learn about geocaching for new cachers or those interested in starting caching so take along your muggle friends if they have an interest in caching and they can learn everything they need to know from creating an account, the benefits of being a premium member and all the other aspects of geocaching. Speak to experienced geocachers at the introduction to geocaching station and learn about the adventures they have been on. This is an opportunity to ask questions and learn from others.
Cache makers corner
Fancy making your own cache but don't know where to begin? Visit the cache making workshop for some inspiration. View some ideas and inspiration for making your own cache as well as have the opportunity to make your own cache containers from some of the items available at the workshop. This workshop will involve adhesive products so children must be supervised by a responsible adult in order to take part. If children are unsupervised they can take away a ready made container and there will also be written information for them to take away too. These items will ber available for bigger children as well so please don't feel that just because you are are a grown up that you are left out!
Extreme Geocaching
Geocaching is a hobby that has something for everyone. For thos e who like to get together over a cup of tea there are events galore where friends can meet up and discuss their tales. For those who like to do the more extreme there is extreme geocaching. Geocache ratings of terrain 5 will be represented here and hopefully there will be a geocache owenr of such a cache available for people to talk to.

Geocaching MEGA events are just exactly that, events that are MEGA! Every year there is the official UK mega that is held over a week with the Saturday having the actual mega day itself.
