I recently received a new micro container from a geocaching friend at a local event. I thought I would put this container to good use. The container is now in play in a popular London park alongside the Thames River. In fact, the hide is quite close to the Thames Valley Trail, and can be found between two of the trail's white blazes. I am very proud to have placed this hide alongside the trail.
At least a few of my fellow geocachers will recall a movie by the name of 'From Russia with Love', hence the name of the geocache. I had a very special person enter my life. She happened to be from Russia. We became very good friends and spent a good portion of time together over a six year period of time or a bit longer, The relationship developed as friends and we got along quite well. We had respect for each other and We both learned a fair bit over that period of time. She was a walker and enjoyed walking in Springbank Park. We would meet and walk there.
Alas, this person was taken away from her friends, her sons and myself in the fall of 2018. She became a large part of my life and will always be remembered by myself. Have you ever had a date on a Greyhound bus. We did one evening while she was waiting for passengers to shuttle to downtown from a mall near my place; a most enjoyable one hour on a summer evening.
I hope you enjoy the location of this hide. One never knows what life may bring your way. 'From Russia with Love' has definitely been a very good experiencce in my life, which will never be forgotten by myself.
