You must have acquired 50 Kudos points in order to have gained sufficient support amongst the clans to raise an army. Once you have completed this task the location of the Battle of Stirling Bridge cache will appear on your map.
There are many ways of gaining Kudos in the cartridge. There are castles owned by clans that you can capture, however be aware if you do that clan will not offer you any tasks. Entering the castle zone will capture it. In order to get a task from these clan's you should visit their seat before attacking any of their castles. No tasks are available from House Balliol who won't ally themselves with you or Clan MacDuff. Here is the list of castles you can capture once. Clan Douglas - Berwick Castle (2). Clan Fraser - Neidpath Castle (2), Clan Graham - Kincardine Castle (2), Mugdock Castle (2), Dalkeith Castle (2), Clan Lindsay - Craigie Castle (2), Clan MacBeath Seat - Eilean Ghruididh (15), Clan MacDuff - Castle Hill (2), Cupar Castle (2), Dentaloune (2), Falkland Castle (2), Maidens Castle (3 - capturing all 5 Clan MacDuff castles gives you a bonus 5 points and the location of a cache), House of Balliol Seat - Dunideer Castle (10), Loch Doon Castle (5), Cavers Castle (5).
