Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Florida Finders Fest 2019 Spidey Geo-Art, brought to you by the Forest Minions! This letterbox Hybrid cache is not at the posted coordinates. You must solve this rather challenging trivia question, to determine the location of the final. As this is a Letterbox Hybrid, we ask that you leave the stamp, in the cache. It is not a trade item. Happy hunting!

The spider species Latrodectus mactans, commonly known as Southern Black Widow, belongs to the genus Latrodectus, in the family Theridiidae. Not the only “widow spider” in North America; there are also four other species of Latrodectus. Deadly is a misnomer! Human deaths are extremely rare from a widow bite, or any other spider bite, for that matter.

Superman Didn’t Always Fly!

The original comic book Superman could leap tall buildings in a single bound—but then he had to come right back down to earth, because he didn’t fly. It wasn’t until this year, when animators for a new cartoon show decided it would be too difficult to routinely draw him bending his knees, that it was decided Superman could simply take off into the air. The audience got to see smooth animation and a superhero gained a new power.

What year did Superman first fly?
