Ein einfacher traditional cache im Ortskern.
Lautzenhausen, heute ein verschlafendes Hunsrückdorf mit mehr Parkplätzen als Einwohnern. Das war früher ganz anders. 1952-1992 war der heutige Flughafen Hahn ein amerikanischer Luftwaffenstützpunkt. Mit den Amerikanern entdeckten die Hunsrücker ein Geschäft jenseits der Landwirtschaft.. Jede Scheune wurde umgebaut und als Tanzbar, Partyschuppen oder Vergnügungslokal genutzt. Das Geschäft blühte und so manche Anekdote erzählt noch heute von dem ehemaligen Rotlichtbezirk im Hunsrück.
Lautzenhausen, today a small village in the Hunsrück area with more parking spaces than inhabitans. But it has some history, from 1952 to 1992 the current Frankfurt Hahn airport used to be Hahn Air Base, a US Air Force installation with fighter jets and tactical missiles and hundreds if not thousands of American servicemen.
There was not much to do for the young men, so the local farmers saw an opportunity to make some money and converted their houses and barns into bars, restaurants and discoteques. The female population in the villaged increased dramatically. One can imagine what all these young women were needed for.
The name of the cache translates as: "from Saul to Paul", reflecting the change of the village after the Americans left.
