Kamnolomi v dolini Bele
Dolino potoka Bele, ki se vije ob regionalnih cesti med Zgornjimi Poljčanami in Lovnikom, bi lahko imenovali tudi dolina kamnolomov. Bela sedimentna kamnina – dolomite je dober tehnični in gradbeni material. Kamnina je poznana pod domačim imenom »poljčanar« se uporablja pri gradnji in posipavanju cest ter za številne druge namene v blžinji in daljnji okolci Poljčan. Največji kamnolom v dolini Bele je nekoč izkoriščalo in upravljalo podjetje Granit, danes Trik kamenine. V dolini Bele je danes še kar nekaj opuščenih kamnolomov in nekateri med njimi so sčasoma postali dragocena življenska okolja za rastlinski in živalski svet. Svojevrstno pestrost človekovega delovanja pa dolini žal prinašajo tudi poskusi nelegalnega izkoriščanja kamnine.

Nad dolino Bele se vzepnja mogočen "štajerski Triglav" - 978 m visok Boč. Na njem je razgledni stolp, prav tako pa tudi Tv stolp (N 46.28933, E 015.59960 °). Oddaljenost škatlice od stolpa je 2338 m. Poljčane kot osrednje naselje v tem delu pa se je začelo razvijati ob izgradnji južne železnice med Dunajem in Trstom. Trenutno se ureja železniška povezava Maribor - Celje ter podvoz pod železnico za lokalno prebivalstvo. Prostor pred železniško postajo (N 46.313583°, E 015.5771°) pa je od končne lokacije oddaljeno 1945 m. Od skritega zaklada pa je priljubljena romarska cerkvica na Ljubičnem (N 46.289783°, E 015.543517°) oddaljena cca 2,256 km, kar je le slabe pol ure hoda po grebenski poti.
