Geocachers from around the UK will be coming to the Woodbridge Inn in North Newnton over the weekend of 7th to 9th June 2019. We will be in the pub on the Saturday night and hope to meet lots of local cachers. Come and meet other geocachers from near and far, catch up with old friends and make some new ones.
When: Saturday 8th June from 7pm to 9pm
Where: The Woodbridge Inn, North Newnton near Pewsey, Wiltshire. We will have a section of the pub reserved for us.
Who: This event is open to all geocachers and their families. You are always welcome at events regardless of whether you have 10 or 10000 finds or anywhere in between.
Travel: There is car parking on site and there is a bus service X5 that runs hourly between Swindon and Salisbury.
Accommodation: For those who wish to spend longer in the area there is camping on site. You can book this on the pub's website and if you mention that you are a geocacher they will allocate you a pitch with the other geocachers. There are also plenty of hotels nearby . Please note you do not need accommodation to attend this event, everyone is welcome.
Food and drink: You do not have to buy anything to attend this event but you might end up hungry and thirsty! If you intend to eat before or diring the event please indicate this in your 'will attend' log so that I can let the pub know. The League of Extraordinary Cachers are a group of enthusiastic geocachers, who want to enjoy shared geocaching adventures, meet as many geocachers as possible to chat, swap stories, trackables and encourage geocaching, whilst having lots of fun.
